Germany, Weimar Republic. A Colonial Badge, C.1930 United Republic of graduating on February 19(Kolonialabzeichen). Instituted 18 April 1922. (1922 1939 issue). Constructed of silvered bronze, vertical pinback, the obverse bearing a central raised and detailed elephant, within a circular ring bearing an inscription of SDSEE AFRIKA KIAUTSCHOU, joined together at the bottom by oak leaf branches, the reverse bearing an issue number of 33992, in overall near extremely fine condition. Footnote: The Colonial Badge was issued to all German personnel
