Ruttimann, C. 1935 Archive 48cm (19 inches)Constructed of multi piece pressed black leather, consisting of a backer rolled into a belt loop and secured in place with heavy hand stitching, the front bearing a separate channel of identical construction for the insertion of a bayonet scabbard, the reverse bearing an embossed makers mark of AU DPART A. RUTTIMANN, LAUSANNE, measuring 80 mm (w) x 195 mm (h), with age appropriate material fatigue evident to the leather, in overall very fine condition.
