Germany, Third Reich. A 1933 National Socialist Flight Day Commemorative Badge Archive I Class (Eiserne Kreuz 1(NS Flugtag Erinnerungsabzeichen). Constructed of bronzed magnetic metal, horizontal pinback, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by a mobile swastika, overlaid by a glider above a raised inscription of N. S. FLUGTAG 1933, unmarked, measuring 44 mm (w) x 54 mm (h), some loss of finish evident, in overall better than very fine condition.
