But if we're being honest, then yes, lettuce and any other leafy green vegetable sprouting from the ground and reeking of wet soil is seriously lacking in the taste department. In fact, there's zero taste only a crisp, alien texture that can't POSSIBLY relate to anything healthy. But it does, so we suffer through its tastelessness one excruciating nibble at a time.
