A rare and extremely well preserved Waffen SS Officers belt and buckle set, the former constructed of a reinforced field grey doeskin base, overlaid across the obverse by a silver aluminum wire tresse which bears alternating oak leaf clusters and double Sig runes in machine embroidered impressions, and which is trimmed along both the top and bottom edges with double lengths of black machine embroidered piping,
