Instituted 30 April 1841 by Grand Duke Paul Friedrich. (1841 1868 issue). Constructed of gilded bronze, consisting of a Cross Patte, the obverse with a central monogram of Grand Duke Paul Friedrich, the reverse with Roman numerals XXV (25), the twelve oclock arm with an integral loop connecting to a suspension ring with a period original tri fold ribbon, unmarked, measuring 35. 62 mm (w)
