Constructed of silver with black enamels, the obverse consisting of a black enameled disc, bearing a silvered date of 1919 topped by oak leaves and a raised Stahlhelm insignia, the reverse with a crimped barrel hinge and banjo style pinback meeting a round wire catch, bearing an etched membership code and date of 1919, stamped with a silver content number of 800, and maker marked with the logo of Der
