Germany, Heer. An Em/Nco’s M42 Overseas Cap Auction 3 mm (w) x 55(Heer Schiffchen M42 fr Mnner Unteroffizier). An extremely well preserved Heer EM NCOs M42 overseas cap, constructed of field grey wool. The cap is fully surrounded by fold down side panels, gently scalloped at the front, providing optional ear and neck protection to the wearer in the style of an M43 visor cap. When not in use, the panels are rolled up and secured in place at the front with two pebbled magnetic metal buttons emanating from the right
