Constructed of gilded bronze with multi coloured enamels, consisting of a Maltese Cross with ball finials, the obverse with a central red enameled medallion bearing a white Polish national eagle, surrounded by a ring of blue enamel with a gilt inscription of POLONIA RESTITUTA (REBIRTH OF POLAND), the reverse with an analogous red enameled medallion bearing a gilt date of 1918, the twelve oclock arm with
