I presume this antique cast iron half-sphere was made to hang straight down via its  four perimeter holes

Each about 3 3/4" t x about 4" wide and deep

Lovely Handmade Reticella Needle Lace Doily angular mug a bit like a driftI'm a sucker for a needle lace doily like this; all those precise, tiny knots. This one in ecru, early 20th century I believe, feels to me like a snowflake to hang in the window for winter. Not especially uncommon to find these, but I think this is a lovely one. 6 5 8" in diameter, very good condition, a few small stains toning in a couple of spots, very minor and not detracting.
