1830 British playing cards (a complete deck goes for $500 or so) but it's not surprising that over the past nearly 200 years some have been lost

These would be great on a vanity or dresser used as pill boxes or containers for rings and earrings

though paint along the roof line on one short side seems to prevent it from opening
