I'm not sure if these wonderful tiny carved wooden spoons were made for a dollhouse or what

9 1/2" long x 4 3/8" tall x 3/4" thick and in good vintage condition

which I'd treat as a talisman

and I'll buy them whenever I find them because I think they're just great

Chinese bronze enameled box old two balls in cageYesterday I came across a bunch of old handmade valentines, including this one, filling me with total joy. This may be my favorite of the lot a bit unassuming on the outside, though with this lovely scalloped edging, but then inside 4 hearts for our dear Frank, who I'm very sad seems never to have chosen one to give back to our Emily, who clearly expended a great deal effort on him! Another one that makes my heart ache. 5 3 4" x 3 3 4" closed. C. 1900
