Ganesha is widely revered as the Remover of Obstacles, and more generally as Lord of Beginnings, patron of arts and sciences, and the deva of intellect and wisdom. He is also worshipped as the god of education, knowledge, wisdom and wealth. Ganesha, in fact, is the symbol of he who has discovered the Divinity within himself. He represents the perfect equilibrium between force and kindness and between power and beauty.
