Chicago Worlds Fair Century of Progress 1934 Souvenir Ramp Walker San Pacific ) It seems these mayThis fabulous Czechoslovakian wooden "ramp walker" toy was a souvenir from "A Century of Progress," an international exposition at the 1934 Chicago World's Fair, which focused on the theme of technological innovation. I am not so sure he embodies a great step forward in terms of technology, but what a charming little figure he is, and quite a rare one, I've learned. He's been carefully hand painted with a sweet face, fabulous polka dotted hat and
