Jean Michel Guillon, Mazis Chambertin Vintage:2014 I like the lovely sense

I like the lovely sense of vitality to the detailed and mineral-inflected medium-bodied flavors that possess fine intensity on the delicious and solidly complex finale

redcurrant and violet on the nose

I have no doubt that in time further treasures will emerge from beneath the surface of primary and secondary aromas

This is a perfumed wine that offers defined aromas of wild cherry that rise to the top with intensity

earth and a vaguely sauvage nuance

Jean Michel Guillon, Mazis Chambertin Vintage:2014 I like the lovely sense(from a . 18 ha parcel of 20+ year old vines and fermented like the Clos de Vougeot). A potent nose reflects notes of reduction, wood toast and menthol. There is seriously impressive size, weight and power to the full bodied and muscular flavors that display notably more minerality on the hugely long and serious but impeccably well balanced finale. This is structured and indisputably built to age but its not especially austere or rustic. (92 95) 2029+
