All of the Albesani signatures are in place, but today it is the wine's tannins that dominate. With time in the glass hints of hard candy, sweet red fruit and flowers begin to emerge. The hot dry conditions during the growing season caused some issues with dehydration, which may have also manifested itself with concentrated tannins.
