There is excellent richness
It needs a year or two of aging and will drink to 2020+
35% Chardonnay and 15% Meunier
This is a sophisticated effort in both its understatement and purity
size and weight and while the finish is dusty and serious it’s not especially austere though note that this will definitely require at least a minimum of patience
Chacra, Pinot Noir Cincuenta y Cinco Vintage:2022 There is excellent richnessAged for seven months 55% in concrete tanks, 41% in used French oak barrels and 4% in amphorae. Perfumed nose, with that floral character allied to lovely depths of red fruit. A subtle and intertwined earthy character. Plenty of structure from the mouth watering acidity and fine, chalky tannins, which are taking the lead on the palate, for the time being at least. However, this is bound to relax a little with another year in bottle. (OC)
