Napa by N.A.P.A. Michael's Red, 2017 garnacha Made by ClaudeBlackberries, cassis, anise, cocoa, saddle on nose. On palate, bold blackberries + currant with edgy tannins keep it defined; Vanilla and warmth making it friendly. A project by current generation of Scotto Cellars, "N. A. P. A." for siblings Natalie, Anthony, Paul + Anne; "Michael's Red" refers to the youngest brother. The varieties are vinified and aged separately in French oak then blended together in Stainless Steel. That final blend is then
