I didn't know about "hieroglyphic bibles" produced in the late 1700s and making use of the rebus form (pictures replacing some of the words) as a means of introducing children to bible reading

I do think those mirror fragments behind each of the cutout windows and door make it an extra special one for sure

but who knows

and then this fantastic octagonal pattern painted on the roof

Hand-sculpted Plaster Head of Gentle Seeming Man hand-forged It is beautifully madeA great head I think, hand sculpted of plaster (solid), with a face that reads to me as open and curious, gentle and kind. I purchased a number of heads of various sorts this week, and have been enjoying arranging them together and can say this guy is a good neighbor to all! 4 t x 3 3 4 w x 3 3 4 d. Mid 20th c. or so I believe. Good condition, with a small chip to left ear (a love bite I'd call it) and some scuffs and tiny dings here and there, just
