It would have been quite a project to make a whole quilt of these

perhaps the frame was made just for it

Boy With Dog and Cat Turning Head, Tender and Moody Old Photo stoneware boot introducing her to her dronesA very dreamy feeling one, with what I think is a fair bit of toning especially around the edges, which compounds the fact of it seeming almost as if having been taken with a pinhole camera, with the face of the child in clear focus and everything skewing a bit from there. I especially love the head of the cat, captured in perfect motion. Quite beautiful I think. 7" x 5". Toning particularly around the edges, which seems all of a piece with it.
