Pure delight

I am pretty sure this one dates to  the 1950s or so

then twice more in Carol's hand

which I believe is the case with this one

Small Lot of Little Valentines carved pair of birds which definitely took their tollA few more old handmade valentines, which seem to have been saved by a miss Mildred, who seems to have been a popular girl! I especially love the text on the one at upper right: "you are the candidate for mine I vote for you for Valentine," plus "I love you," at the bottom! Will You Be Mine at upper right measures 3 1 8" x 2 13 16" for example. Sold as a bunch.
