Hibiscus 'Black Beauty' bananas Plants are dioeciousHibiscus 'Black Beauty' does not quite live up to its name. Although extremely beautiful, the colour is more of a deep burgundy rose colour. The flowers are large and attention getting, for this reason alone it is definitely worth growing. But to say the flowers are 'purple to black' is not really a helpful or accurate description.
