I found this wonderful truck at a little mom and pop antique shop in Jamesport

but no metal-smithing background--so they taught themselves

While its surface shows signs of age and wear

The handle measures approximately 1" in diameter

I love the streamlined form of it, with head stretched gracefully forward, as if in motion. The incised carving itself is pretty lovely too, with a mix of banded patterns at the center, and cross hatching at either end.
