Modernist Feeling 19th Century Hand-Carved Double Sided Butter Stamp with Geometric Designs German creche and hitting the target atMy first photo here is a composite showing two views of this carved stamp, a butter stamp I believe: target like concentric circles on one end, a cross hatched square on the other, and both sides tapering to the middle like an hourglass. I rarely buy a butter stamp or mold, including for having little expertise about them, but this feels completely transcendent to me, and also like a very modernist feeling carved object, which I'd be as inclined to
