stained a rich dark brown
measures 4 1/2" tall x 1 7/8" in diameter
with wear and some dryness/light cracking to the wood (which I have not touched)
There is an additional hinged mat (which I have folded back to photograph the drawing) that lies over the front of the drawing (easily removed) with plastic to protect it (shown in last photo)
but I sure think its a beauty
