whose carver seems to have abandoned him without quite finishing (though after doing quite a nice job detailing his face

I just love the inventiveness of this piece and find it a truly delight-inducing thing

we are all doing a lot of sitting these days

Carved Wolf on the Prowl sailboat on ocean and arching eyebrowsThis carved wolf looks like quite a stalker, and also a bit cartoon y, making me think a bit of Little Red Riding Hood, or a pen of vulnerable sheep. I like the rustic ness of the carving, and especially the very long snout, and also the carving's thinness not much more than a silhouette treading stealthily along his base! 6 1 4" l x 2 7 8 " t x 7 8" thick and in very good vintage condition, definitely with some age. It appears to be signed in pencil
