Great carved and pink painted face as well--which I especially like as it makes me think of the maker

Wonderful Folk Art Black Dog, Carved Wood with Polychrome padlock I have a theory thatA total charmer, much better in hand, with nice age patina on the black paint, and fine carve marks all over. Love at first sight, found in PA, with a bit of a feline aspect but I do believe a dog. (Best of both worlds!) 6" l x 3 7 8" t x 2 1 8" w, very good condition. 1920s 40s or so I would guess.
