Lovely Pair of Antique Indigo Calico Quilt Blocks no 57 which I believe translates as

and I really love his reclining position

with a bit of crazing to the pink glaze of the dog on one of the boxes

especially based on the shape of the beak

It is the three of them that really makes this painting for me

Lovely Pair of Antique Indigo Calico Quilt Blocks no 57 which I believe translates asJust too pretty not to bring home old indigo calicos do it for me every time, and lovely here pieced together with squares of old shirting fabric to form checkerboards. Perhaps nice to have the two together to use somehow (a pretty little pillow they would make) so I'm selling as a pair. Personally I'd be very happy just pinning them to wall and looking at them. The one with blue stripes just a bit longer than the other, 13 1 4" long and 12 5 8" long
