Description
layered and with a tantalizing nuttiness
Readers may remark on my relatively mean scores
Many are quick to dismiss it given the difficulties of the growing season that saw abundant rain
The palate is rounded and candied on the entry with orange pith and light apricot notes
Brunate and Rocche dell Annunziata
Quintus Vintage:2012 layered and with a tantalizingThe inaugural vintage of Chteau Quintus, with only ex Tertre Daugay fruit used. Leather, plum and spice aromatics are at the fore. The palate is round but with a fresh, chalky, terroir note, and there is a pebble sucking finish. It was early days but the wine is honest and pleasing. The oak is just about integrated. It's ready for drinking now.
