Big Old Hand-forged Iron Hay Hook old cat doorstop I'd use it for serving

I'd use it for serving a sliced pear and a bit of cheese along with a glass of wine

of course is easy to remove if one prefer to put something more personal in its place

and the back

With legs extending out at either end

I believe the figures are carved of wood and glued inside

Big Old Hand-forged Iron Hay Hook old cat doorstop I'd use it for servingNot really my usual thing, but this old hand forged iron hay hook just struck me as a very beautiful thing. And as a pretty dramatic hook, at 13 1 2 inches long and 5 inches deep. Nice rusty surface and nice lines. Seems like you could hang anything from a hat top a hose from it! 13 1 2" x 5" x 5". Iron is 5 8" thick.
