Domaine la Clef du Récit Menetou-Salon, 2024 Picpoul Savory herbaceousness and a bouquetWhite grapefruit, white flowers, lime, summer peach on nose. Palate is lifted lime, mandarin, lilies, green apple with flinty minerality. Menetou Salon is in the central Loire Valley; Most wines are not exported from here (only 15% leave the country) so it's a treat to experience this appellation stateside. Often compared to its neighboring appellation of Sancerre, these wines tend to be a better value yet with their own intriguing qualities and truly
