Whittled and Painted Toy Slingshot old wooden whimsy This is not my typical

This is not my typical sort of find

(And I know I'm not alone

but revealing the hand of its maker through small imperfections here and there

6 1/4" l x 4 15/16" t x 1/2" thick and in very good condition

with very satisfying crusty old painted surface and carved form a bit suggestive of an arrow--making it a good one for hanging on the wall pointing toward whatever

Whittled and Painted Toy Slingshot old wooden whimsy This is not my typicalNot a lot of whole lot of carving went into this one, but someone certainly chose a good branch, flattened down one side a bit, and whittled the tips, then painted them silver and red. In perfect shape to put into play again, though also nice just an object sitting around latent with potential. 9" x 3 1 8" x 11 16" and in very good vintage condition.
