Description

and earthy all at once

Made of composition material

and seeming as if about to take a bite out of the sun

with yellow beak and red wings

but certainly useful for all sorts of things

Blue on Yellow Crosses, Transcendent Old Crayon Drawing 1930s art supplies and earthy all at onceSpotted from a distance at the Allentown PA show, this crayon drawing made my heart race. To my eye a perfect, gorgeous thing, which if I came across it in a museum would also make me swoon and want to take it off the wall and bring home. One cross an echo of the other, but its own thing. Geometric forms, but not a straight line anywhere. Color and line and pattern and metaphor, too. And equally good any way you turn it. Love. 11 1 4" x 9". Good
