Japanese Vintage Wooden Kokeshi Doll Hand-Painted Children's Chopsticks Brandon stoneware Kelly was known for studies

Kelly was known for studies of birds and animals

I have so much to learn about textiles and weaving traditions

Though I have found no mark on it

I am guessing it dates from the 30s

or could be used to display another small object to make for an creative pairing

Japanese Vintage Wooden Kokeshi Doll Hand-Painted Children's Chopsticks Brandon stoneware Kelly was known for studiesI found these fabulous hand painted vintage wooden chopsticks at an estate sale that featured a really interesting mix of Asian and farm house antiques. I believe the owner was in the military, and brought back lots of things from Japan, starting in the 1940s, which might be the age of these. They're just wonderful objects that could be great used to hold a hair bun in place, stake a plant, or just add a pop of cuteness here and there. So sweet! Sold
