This single barrel rye was picked by the Ambassadors for the DMV Chapter of the Black Bourbon Society (Kenny, Ada and Kim). Nose: Alpine esque with notes of clove, allspice and fruit. Taste Mouthfeel: Rye spice with a balance of brown sugar and sorghum. The sweetness is anchored by fig, plum and dark, pitted fruit. Finish: Medium with lingering baking spice and cardamom.
